| | Groups across the nation are banding together to protest the movie "Tropic Thunder" because of the use of the word retard and the fact that it makes fun of mentally handicapped people. What I find interesting is that Robert Downy, Jr is wearing freakin' black face, and apparently, that's acceptable. Folks, it's a movie. Obviously being politically correct is not the agenda of this film. The agenda is to entertain with irreverent comedy. But enough of that.
Come see "The Legend of the Spooky Switchman" done by the Mystery Train Theatre based out of Union Station. I'm going to be in it! Yay! It will run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights Sept 5th - Nov 2nd. |
